B32 (Bartók street 32.) Cultural Center is located in the heart of the 11th dictrict, Budapest. Surrounded by other cultural facilities and cafes like the famous Hadik Cafe or Szatyor. The profile of B32 covers a wide range: from children of 6-8 years, students (18-30) of the numerous universities in the district, to the elderly, pensionist (50+) of the neighborhood.

 

Thats why we decided to show this diversity using the tools of typography: we selected one hungarian you typographer Ádám Katyi (Hungarumlaut), and used fonts designed by him: one monospaced childish one, one sans for the young students and one didone to the older people. These 3 fonts made out the B32 typography.

 

We could think in a complex way, because we were commisioned not just redesign the identity, but the interior of the entrance hall awsell. This way the identity can comminucate also in the interior spaces.
